What should you do next?
- Sign in to the above sites to confirm you can access them.
- Add the MA Daily Planner by clicking the link above, if you don't have it already.
- Update your personal information in your profile on MyMA. This includes:
- Your full contact info like name, address, phone, etc
- You car information
- Emergency contact information
- Make sure you can access the "Growing with Canvas Quick Start for Teachers" course on Canvas.
- Log into RingCentral phone app on your computer and update your voicemail. A quickstart guide can be found here.
- Update your default Calendar permissions
- By Default, your calendar is visible to anyone with a MA.ORG email address (Including students).
- You can change this by going to https://calendar.google.com then clicking the three-dot menu next to your name and choosing Settings and Sharing.
- Scroll down to "Access permissions for events" and change the option for "Make available to Marin Academy" to Show only free/busy (hide details)
- Right below this section is where you can grant specific permissions in a per-person or group way. Usually, you'd give your direct supervisor access to see calendar details if you change the above defaults to free/busy.
