Setting up a printing preset
Configuring Presets for Ricoh Copiers at MA:
1. Open any document and choose File > Print (The application should not matter)
2. Look for "Print using the system dialogue" in the lower right of the window and click on it.
3. On the drop-down for Presets and choose “Save Current Settings as Preset”. Name it whatever you'd like (i.e "Ricoh Default") and set it to be available for all printers.
4. To configure Black&White printing as the default: Go to the fourth drop-down and choose “Printer Features” , then choose the Basic section. Change color mode to “Black and White”.

5. For Finishing options, change the "Basic" Feature Set to "Finishing" and review the options for Staple, Punch, and Collating. You can Save any new preset as you implement the features you'd like.

Note: If the finishing options are greyed out, you need to define the Options for the Ricoh Copiers. See below.
6. You can review all the other features and create additional presets as you need.
If you do not see the Finishing options:
1. Go to System Preferences > Printers&Scanners > Highlight the printer in question and click "Options & Supplies".
2. Option Tray should show "Lower paper Trays" (Please note the plural, do not choose "Lower Paper Tray")
3. The Finisher should be the bottom option. All three models have a different number, but it's always the bottom one.
