Enroll All Students to Special Classes
In order for student schedules to list Lunch, Tutorial, Assembly, etc… those need to have the students enrolled. The issue is these "Courses" should NOT show up in the list of classes, but SHOULD show on their calendar.
- Create the course if it's not already there: Academics > Scheduling > Requests and Schedules > Department and Courses.
Note: They should already be there under the "Other" department.
2. Offer the courses by simply checking the box next to the name in "Offer Course"

3. Go to "Manage Classes", find the class and click the three-dot menu to the left and chose "Manage Classes"

- Set the Block to the appropriate block. You do not need to configure a room or teacher(* maybe? I thought we had an issue with this that required a teacher be selected.)
- Save all and close
4. Add all students to this class by going to "Enroll Group". Make sure the academic year is correct then click search, Move all, Next, scroll down to the Other department and check all the special classes. Then, Save&Exit

5. Go to Core > Security > Group Page Access > Classes > Individual Classes

- Search for each class under Access Types and then change the permissions for Students and Parent Of student to "List Only".

6. Impersonate a student and check to make sure these are NOT listed under classes, but DO show up in their schedule/Calendar.
