How Athletic team pages on the MA website sync schedule and roster
Note from Russ: I still do not full understand how this actually works, especially the part about the ImportID. I think Finalsite does some manual input when they see a new team. When in doubt, call Finalsite, their tech support is better.
1. On MyMA, go to Extracurricular > Athletics > Athletics Setup
2. Click on the team you'd like to work with and then go to Schedules
3. Click "Publish Schedules" and make sure "Publish games" is checked.

Alternatively, you can go to Group Finder, find the team, click Schedule, then click Settings on the right side.
4. Once this is done, you may need to wait 15min for the sync to flow to Finalsite (the Website host).
5. Login to https://maorg.finalsite.com/fs/admin/dashboard and go to Manager (the square box with 4 rectangles) > Athletics Manager
6. Go to Teams > Team you are working with > Team Properties and make sure all the information is relevant (If a name has been changed in MyMA, make a note of the ImportID and let Finalsite support know).

7. Go to Team Roster > Name Format and make sure it's Firstname, Last initial

8. The changes in Finalsite are instant. Check the website again for any issues and make corrections as needed.
Note: If there is a blank entry in the Team List with events listed, then either a new team or old team with a new name has been detected. Click to enter that team to find out what it is and name it appropriately. Follow instructions above to fix settings to publish the team to the website. You may find a duplicate team with last years data, check the box "Hide Team on Pages" on the Team Properties page to remove it.
