Secure Printing with MA Copiers

📘 Overview

When you need to print a confidential document, avoid using printers in:

Public areas (accessible to students and employees)
Semi-public areas (shared among employees)

The solution: print to MA_Copiers.

When you print to MA_Copiers, your job won’t print automatically. It stays in a secure queue until you log in at any copier with your fob or PIN to release it — preventing others from seeing your documents.

⚙️ How It Works

Print to “MA_Copiers.” Select it from your printer list (like “BBLC Workroom” or “Thacher_Office”). Your job won’t print yet.
Go to any copier. You can release your job from any MA copier on campus.
Log in. Tap your fob or enter your PIN.
Release your job. You’ll see:

“You have X print jobs pending.”

Choose:
- Print All – print everything at once
- Print Release – print selected jobs only

🔒 Extra Security Tips

Pick a less busy copier for confidential prints. Good example is Foster 3rd Floor.
Use a folder to carry sensitive documents back to your office.
