Add the AirPlay Menu Back to the Menu Bar in mac OS Big Sur

OVERVIEW

The latest version of macOS (Big Sur) moved the AirPlay menu from the menu bar at the top of your screen to another dropdown. You now have to click twice to get to the list of Apple TVs. This article explains how to re-add it back to its original location.

PROCEDURE

1. Open Control Center, which is the icon to the left of the date/time in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Drag the Screen Mirroring section to the menu bar to the left of the spotlight search.
3. That's it!
